My name is Hugo Celso and I'm the man behind this independent music project, Inmyths .
The project is a resume of a collection of almost 15 years of music and recordings made throughout several other projects/bands (described here as sessions.) in which Hugo Celso participates and that otherwise would be lost and forgotten somehow.
Inmyths' aesthetics is strictly indie-rock/grunge, and so it is dissimilar in tone from most of today’s favorite music.
Inmyths seems dark, but passionate and it is performed with softer guitar playing than perhaps most bands from Seattle and the Sub Pop-era.
The title refers to myths (Inner Myths) that somehow all and each one of us carry and feel inside.

Perpétua Sessions
It all started in Perpétua, an highschool garage band from Rio Maior - Portugal.
In Perpétua Hugo learned what a band is and what does it take to perform live.
The original formation was:
Drums - Pantrax
Bass - Pinto
Vocals - Izumi
Guitars - Gugu
Guitars and Back Vocals - Hugo
Later on Ricardo (aka Grande) took Pantrax's place on the Drums.

Just after Perpétua's dissolution, some of the elements wanted to go on and do some new stuff in a new style.

SilverSleep Sessions
SilverSleep started with the collaboration between João Castelo and Hugo Celso. An EP was released as the product of the collaboration.

Hage Sessions
Hage began as a support project for Ivo Santos' band, Overmind. It grabbed Hugo's songs and ideas and performed before the Overmind gigs.

Guitars - António
Guitars and Vocals - Hugo
Later on when the original formation dissolved, Hugo join João Castelo (SilverSleep) and continued the project, now with more motivation and a lot of new ideas.
Yacopo Brizzi (Bass) joined the band and brought with him a whole new strenght, the live performance. Tico also join Hage as guitarist, giving Hugo more space to concentrate in the vocals.

Sukuru Sessions
Hugo met Mytho in Coimbra and later on formed the Sukuru Project, that intended to build music just for the sake of it and having fun in the process. They collaborated remotely while Hugo was in the UK and it's still an ongoing project.
